Sermon: The Merciful Troubler of Our Souls
I Kings 18.1-21: Elijah is a character that displays the disrupting character of God. God, through his Spirit, disrupts in order to bring forth new life where death holds the world in the grip of status quo. Elijah is a foreshadowing of Jesus as the disrupter who conquers death.
