Hebrews 1.4-14: In seeking to elevate the Son, the writer explores the reality of the angelic realm. By understanding the glory of the angelic realm, we can more greatly understand the glory of the Son of God. It also gives us confidence in as we live in a world in crisis that our lives and future are secure in him.
Hebrews 1.1-4: In the midst of a world threatened by liquefaction of values and culture, we look to the one who by his powerful world holds the world together. This is the Son, the Word made flesh in Jesus Christ. This sermon points to him and calls us to fall at his feet to seek the healing through his word.
