Hebrews 11.29-40: To tie one’s own life in time to eternity is the life of faith. This calls for a trust in God’s promise of a coming kingdom, one that will overcome all that this world is and bring renewal and victory. Though we might see decay, defeat, and despair all around, we wave our palms of victory – for we know the end of his story.
