Philippians 2.1-11: To know what it means to shine like stars, we first need to understand the glory of the light of Christ. For we follow from him. In ch. 2, Paul wants to highlight Christ’s glory in his obedience to the Father, a willingness to give of himself in full obedience and not seek for himself glory. This is his glory, the cross, giving of himself, thinking of others before himself. This is our source of life.
