Matthew 27.62-28.15: The resurrection of Jesus is not an earthly imagined reality, but one that must be brought to us from heaven above. But, it also calls for us to believe heaven’s witness, that gets passed onto the women, and then the disciples, and then the world. By believing this ‘strange’ truth, our lives become reoriented around what is real and lasting. In the hardship of this life and its letdowns, the resurrection reorients us around hope, light, and life evermore.
